Fusil

Behind the raw, straightforward creations of Fusil Paris is Edouard, who turned to design and jewelry-making by chance. When he got his hands on some old, family cutlery, particularly teaspoons, he saw a potential playground and began testing them. He flattens, turns and overturns them, soldering and filing them until he settles on a precise shape. Marks and other accidents are deliberately left inside the jewels, which bear the story of the manufacturing process. The prototypes are then cast, to obtain the
definitive models in 925 silver. The first two collections offer a range of models with clean, direct lines. The collections are living, as new models are introduced as inspiration transpires.

Each piece is created with a mixture of instinct and chance. Freed from constraints and codes deemed too divisive, Edouard gives free rein to his creativity and prioritizes spontaneity above all else. Nothing is anticipated, and everything reveals itself to the rhythm of a piece of music, an artistic line or visual research. It is these particularities that give Fusil Paris creations their singular character. Each piece of jewelry has its own story, which Edouard always takes the time to tell when we visit his Parisian workshop. It’s an opportunity to understand how his pieces were conceived and created.

While his creations are a clear sign of the Fusil Paris identity, this creator allows himself the freedom to take other approaches, such as one-off designs or creations based on ideas or inspiration from customers wishing to create an entirely custom, more personal project.
